BEST PLACE TO LEARN
The BEST PLACE TO LEARN® award is a seal of quality for excellent in-company training.
The BEST PLACE TO LEARN® award is a seal of quality for excellent in-company training. It is awarded to companies that, within the framework of a certification by AUBI-plus GmbH, demonstrate through 72 quality features in seven complex areas that they provide young talents with exceptional qualifications throughout the entire training process, from recruiting, onboarding and training planning to the design of professional learning and the competence of training staff to the outcome of training and career prospects.
What does that mean?
We regularly have our internal training scrutinised by AUBI-plus. According to the BEST PLACE TO LEARN® quality model, good training companies are characterised by the following in particular
- have top attraction measures and very good recruiting,
- Rapidly integrate trainees and students through targeted onboarding measures
- ensure reliable training planning and management,
- have highly qualified training officers and design vocational learning according to key guiding principles.
The focus of the anonymous survey was on our current and former trainees and dual students as well as the operational trainers and mentors for trainees.
For a long time now, it has no longer been enough to only take care of the "best". In times of the war for talent, systematic talent marketing involves everyone - especially our young professionals. Good strategic talent management is more than just administering or managing talent, but focuses on individual career paths. In this sense, the BEST PLACE TO LEARN® seal is not just some branding effect for Hays, but a confirmation that we are on the right track in very many areas. The development of training at Hays since the last recertification in 2019 shows that we have been able to maintain or even further improve the very high quality of our in-house training in all areas. The apprentices, dual students and trainers in particular are the beacons here and confirm a very high quality of training.
14 years ago, in 2008, we took on our first trainee as a personnel services clerk. Today, we can look back on a diverse and exciting training portfolio: In addition to training as personnel services clerks (IHK) in Mannheim, Munich, Düsseldorf, Dortmund, Stuttgart, Freiburg and Frankfurt, we also offer training in office management at our head office. In addition, there is the opportunity to study at the DHBW in Mannheim in various Bachelor's degree programmes. These include Business Administration-Industry, Business Administration-Digital Business Management, Accounting & Controlling, Marketing Management, Applied Computer Science and Business Informatics. We currently supervise a total of 47 trainees and dual students throughout Germany.
